Religious Ed for Brother Knights
We are all called to love Christ, but to love him we must learn as much about him as we can. Columbia Magazine, received by every member of the order, is a great place to start. Each issue includes well-written articles on issues facing the Church and the Church’s response to those issues. The July issue includes a look at the Church’s dedication to the integrity of human life and love, an article on the year of St. Paul, an article in a continuing series by Bishop William E. Lori, Supreme Chaplain, on the Church’s teaching on creationism and evolution, and a follow-up to Pope Benedict XVI’s apostolic journey to the United States. Have you opened this issue yet?

23rd Psalm

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. Amen
